Memorandum of Scientific Research Agreement with Multimedia University of Malaysia Signed

On October 20th, the Vice President Xin’an Zeng and President Mazliham Mohd Su’ud of Multimedia University (MMU) of Malaysia jointly signed a memorandum of scientific research agreement online. This memorandum mainly involves the scientific research collaboration between Professor Zhiqiang Luo from the Faculty of Industrial Design and Ceramic Art, Foshan university and Associate Professor Lim Tek Yong from Multimedia University. Two scholars jointly applied for the MMU International Matching Grant and obtained approval for an organized cross-border research project on building precision rehabilitation systems, aiming to explore the utility of virtual technology for rehabilitation for the elderly with cognitive impairment. This matching grant from Multimedia University provides financial support for cross-national collaborations.Scholars from China, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, India, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Malaysia have been accredited.

A total of 8 universities took part in this on-line ceremony. In this session, Professor Xin’an Zeng introduced the participants FOSU and Foshan manufacturing industry. Zeng hopes to take this International Matching Grant project as an opportunity to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Foshan University and Multimedia University of Malaysia .
