Delegates of HKBU Visits FOSU

On 20th of October, a delegation composed of teachers and students from the College of International Education, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) visited the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Food Intelligent Manufacturing, which is in the charge of Professor Xin’an Zeng, the Vice President of FOSU. Xin’an Zeng, the leading member of National Wine Connoisseur Committee, delivered a lecture on wine there, which contents ranged from the origin and culture, grape varieties, cultivation, brewing as well as wine etiquette, tasting and identification, etc. Xin’an Zeng explained in detail the basic principles and processes of quality wine brewing, key technology and evaluation standards.  

Guests show great interest in the lab faculties’ integrated teaching and training mode, i.e., industry-university-research circular system, as it is very down-to-earth and worthwhile to learn from. Xin’an Zeng sincerely suggests both institutions strengthen communication and exchanges, learn from each other, and benefit mutually.
