Top Dialogue: Professor Zeng Xin’an with Professor George Smoot

On April 30th, Professor Zeng Xin’an, Vice President of Foshan University, had an in-depth talk with Professor George Smoot when participating in the conference of “2024 Guangzhou Nobel Heroes”.

During the discussion session, after Zeng Xin’an’s account of FOSU development and achievement over these years, these two scholars exchanged their perspectives on such issues as driving forces of technological innovation, social responsibility of research and cultivation of younger scientists.

George Smoot, the Nobel laureate, paid a visit to our University in 2018 and was awarded Foshan University Honorary Professor.
