FOSU leads the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Hydrogen Energy Innovation Alliance
The 2024 Annual Conference of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance and the University Presidents’ Forum was held on July 16th at SYSU. Professor Gao Song, President of SYSU and Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance, announced the official establishment of the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Hydrogen Energy Innovation Alliance.” This initiative was led by our university in collaboration with South China University of Technology, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the University of Macau. President Luo Shaoming on behalf of FOSU, received the alliance plaque and delivered a speech at the Principals’ Forum on “Integrating Education, Technology, and Talent to Build New Advantages in High-Level Openness.”
The “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Hydrogen Energy Innovation Alliance” is grounded in the high-quality development needs of the hydrogen energy industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It leverages the comprehensive hydrogen industry chain advantages of Foshan, aiming to strengthen cooperation and exchange in the fields of new energy and hydrogen energy among the three regions.
