數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院邀請華中科技大學(xué)李驥教授作學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告報(bào)道

       應(yīng)佛山大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院副院長吳楚芬教授的邀請，華中科技大學(xué)李驥教授于7月4日周五下午3點(diǎn)，在騰訊會議（517-948-357）開展了題為“ Stability of periodic waves bifurcating from a front-back wave loop”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。吳楚芬教授主持線上學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告會，學(xué)院微分方程方向老師、研究生參會。整個學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告精彩紛呈，理論與應(yīng)用相結(jié)合，引起了師生熱烈的反響。報(bào)告后，李驥教授針對研究生和年輕博士老師們提出的疑問，開展了專門的輔導(dǎo)，并確定了合作的研究內(nèi)容。

       報(bào)告簡介：In this talk, we focus on the stability of periodic waves bifurcating from a front-back wave loop. First, in general systems, we give the expressions of spectra with small modulus for linearized operator $L$ about these periodic waves by using Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction method and Lin-Sandstede method. Then, applying above spectral results to FitzHugh-Nagumo system, we obtain that $L^2(\mathbb{R})$-spectrum of $L$, consisting of essential spectrum, lies in the left-hand complex plane and is tangent to the imaginary axis at the origin. Last, we analyse the nonlinear stability of periodic waves against localized perturbations for FitzHugh-Nagumo system.  

       李驥教授簡介：華中科技大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)院教授，博士生導(dǎo)師，2008年本科畢業(yè)于南開大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)試點(diǎn)班，2012年在美國楊伯翰大學(xué)取得博士學(xué)位，后在明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)和密西根州立大學(xué)做博士后及訪問助理教授，2016年加入華中科技大學(xué)。主要研究兩類問題：1.幾何奇異攝動理論及應(yīng)用，尤其是斑圖的存在性，穩(wěn)定性，以及其分支和相關(guān)動力學(xué)行為；2.擬線性淺水波多孤立子穩(wěn)定性問題。在包括Math Ann，Adv，TAMS，JMPA，JFA，AnnPDE，JDE，PhyD等雜志發(fā)表論文四十多篇。
