應(yīng)佛山大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院特聘教授夏永輝教授和和吳楚芬教授的邀請(qǐng),美國邁阿密大學(xué)阮士貴(Shigui Ruan)教授于12月14日,在行政樓423開展了主題關(guān)于“Single Species Population Models with Harvesting and Gompertz Tumor Model with Periodical Treatment”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。吳楚芬教授主持學(xué)術(shù)講座,學(xué)院微分方程與分析團(tuán)隊(duì)年輕博士與研究生參會(huì)。
報(bào)告摘要:
It is important to include economic factors in population dynamical models and it
is necessary to develop an ecologically acceptable strategy for harvesting any renewable resource such as animals, fish, plants, etc. Mathematically, it is crucia to study various the dynamics in a biological system when it is perturbed by the harvesting effort. There are several types of harvesting, including constant-effort (linear), constant-yield, nonlinear, and periodic harvesting. Recently, the open/closed fishing strategy is modeled by using a piecewise switch function. In this talk, we will review different dynamical results and biological outcomes when a single species is harvested by all these types of harvesting. Finally, Gompertz tumor model with periodic treatment will be introduced and results will be applied to fit the data on prostate cancer with treatments.
阮士貴教授簡介: 阮士貴,本科和碩士畢業(yè)于華中師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系,1992年獲得加拿大阿爾伯特大學(xué)(University of Alberta)數(shù)學(xué)系博士學(xué)位,1992-1994年在加拿大菲爾茲數(shù)學(xué)所(Fields Institute)和麥克馬斯特大學(xué)(McMaster University)做博士后,現(xiàn)為美國邁阿密大學(xué)(University of Miami)數(shù)學(xué)系終身教授。主要研究領(lǐng)域是動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)和微分方程及其在生物和醫(yī)學(xué)中的應(yīng)用。在包括《PNAS》、《Lancet Infect Dis》、《Memoirs Amer Math Soc》、《J Math Pures Appl》、《Math Ann》等學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表了200多篇學(xué)術(shù)論文,收到了國內(nèi)外同行的關(guān)注與大量引用,2014和2015年連續(xù)被湯森路透集團(tuán)列為全球高被引科學(xué)家。擔(dān)任了一些重要學(xué)術(shù)期刊如《BMC Infectious Diseases》、《Bulletin of Mathematical Biology》(高級(jí)編委)、《Mathematical Biosciences》等的編委。作為項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人多次獲得美國國家衛(wèi)生研究院(NIH)、美國國家科學(xué)基金(NSF)和中國國家自然科學(xué)基金多項(xiàng)資助。2013年獲得海外及港澳學(xué)者合作研究基金(原海外杰青)資助。EJDE的執(zhí)行主編,同時(shí)擔(dān)任八個(gè)(Elsevier,Springer, IOP)的國際SCI學(xué)術(shù)期刊的編委和AIMS應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)系列數(shù)學(xué)叢書的編委。
